Lease mileage pace calculator

Type your lease terms and today's odometer. See your pace, and what the last day will look like if nothing changes.

How the pace works

Your allowance is the yearly miles times the length of the lease. This tool compares what you've driven with what you were allowed to drive by today, then carries your real pace forward to the last day.

The forecast is an estimate. It assumes you keep driving the way you have. Your lease contract has the real terms.

Questions

What is a typical overage charge?

It's written in your lease. Many are between 15 and 30 cents a mile, but only your contract knows. Type yours.

Can I buy extra miles?

Some leasing companies sell extra miles at a lower rate if you buy them before the lease ends. Ask yours.

What if I'm under?

You usually get nothing back for unused miles, though low mileage helps if you plan to buy the car or trade it early.

Track this automatically in Tagwell Auto

The lease tracker in Tagwell Auto does this from your odometer readings, with no retyping, and tells you when you drift over pace.
